Hi there beautiful people,
Sorry for a late post but I was very busy today, implementing the activities I posted about the other day. I do have some pictures and they are not the greatest, we tried. I only had the time to implement 2 of them today, I will do the other one too but I am not too sure when. Here are the two activities we did:
As you can see, I changed my activities a little bit. I really was tempted to get her feet into the paint and so was she, but I thought I will have to clean it up later. So I was like nope, not up for that. So what we did here was that, she is hand/finger painting on a contact paper which we used for our first activity. I had securely taped the contact paper on the floor (sticky side up) and she was so fascinated to see what we are going to do. She gets so excited whenever we are doing something fun and I think just seeing me cut up some contact paper and tape it on the floor made her think we are upto something. I didn't want to upload a picture with her feet, but those are the feet I kiss every night so I was like why not? Here are her feet on a sticky contact paper:
Her facial expressions were priceless when she tried moving. She had so much fun and so did I looking at her. She was just "stuck" on the paper and it was hilarious to see her move. She was like what is my mom doing to me but don't worry, I made sure that the paper was not too sticky so that it didn't hurt her delicate feet.
So basically what I did was I taped down the contact paper, let her have some fun. Then I thought why waste the contact paper, let's just do the painting one on it too. First I tried doing the painting one on the floor, I literally squirted paint on the paper while it was taped on the floor and she was going to step on it. All of a sudden, I was like no Ar, then I moved the paper up on her high chair and she hand painted. She was having so much fun. At first she was like what am I supposed to do? Then I started getting my hands dirty and she joined. Now I have an even better idea, I will cut an extra piece of the contact paper, the same size, and I'll stick the two together. That way I can frame it and display it on one of her room's wall. It is a pretty masterpiece. I love doing that; I love making random art and putting them (if they are good enough) on the walls throughout my house. This is the final product, the colors are really bad in the picture but it looks awesome in actual:
I only used 3 colors; purple, silver and gold. They look awesome together, I think it will look good in a silver frame.
Wow, this post has actually turned into a home decor idea. 😀 Anyway, those are the two activities we did, let us know if you did any and which was your favorite. I still have to implement the Goop and we'll see how that comes along. Also, I apologize for the bad quality pictures, but I promise next time they will be better. I actually did the activities in the evening that's why the pictures came out really bad. Next time, I'll do the activities in the morning so that I can take some quality pictures. Hope you enjoyed doing the activities as well (if you did) and I'll talk to you guys later.
HAVE FUN! :)
